Tuition Centre Website Design in Singapore

Updated 18 October 2026

Short answer: a tuition centre website needs one page per subject and level, a readable timetable per branch, fees per term, tutor profiles, a trial sign-up that reaches you on WhatsApp, and the MOE registration stated exactly as MOE allows. Parents search "P5 maths tuition" with a location, so the subject pages do the selling. A centre site of 10 to 20 pages starts at S$2,000 at cense and is quoted in full after one call.

Singapore households spent S$1.8 billion on private tuition in 2023, according to the Household Expenditure Survey reported by SingStat on 22 January 2025. The parents spending it compare centres on a phone before they call.

Which pages do parents look for?

A parent arrives with a subject, a level and a location in mind. The site has to answer those three in the first screen, then let them check the rest.

  • Subject and level pages. Primary 5 maths, Secondary 3 physics, O-Level English, JC1 economics. One page each, named the way parents search. Each page states the syllabus covered, class size, duration, schedule and fee.
  • Timetable per branch. As text, not a photo of a printed timetable. Google can read text; it cannot read a JPEG of a grid.
  • Fees. Per term, per subject, with registration and material fees stated. A parent who cannot find the fee assumes it is high.
  • Tutor profiles. Qualifications and years of experience, stated as held. No claims about former schools or ministries without evidence.
  • Results. Stated with the student's parent's consent, the year and the subject. No guaranteed grades.
  • Location. Address, nearest MRT, bus stops, parking, and a map. If there are two branches, each gets its own page.
  • Trial sign-up. One form or one WhatsApp button, on every page.
  • Policies. Make-up lessons, withdrawal notice, refund terms. MOE advises parents to check contract terms before enrolling, so publish them.

A single-branch centre with 6 subjects across 4 levels needs about 15 pages. Each one is a search a parent runs.

What does MOE registration require the site to show?

Under the Education Act, a private school that offers education to 10 or more persons must register with MOE. MOE's registration page, last updated 20 January 2026, states this includes tuition and enrichment centres that teach subjects taught in mainstream schools. The centre registers three things: the school, the courses it offers, and the teachers permitted to teach them.

What that means for the website:

  • The exact wording. MOE states that a registered school should only use the words "Registered with the Ministry of Education" when stating its status. Do not write "MOE-approved", "MOE-accredited" or "MOE-endorsed". MOE's page says registration is not an endorsement or accreditation of quality.
  • Registered courses only. Advertise the courses MOE has permitted. A new subject needs a letter of permission before it goes on the site.
  • Teachers as registered. Tutor profiles should match the teachers permitted to teach each course.
  • Verifiable. MOE's private schools page, updated 13 May 2026, lets parents search registered schools by name. MOE's advice to parents, updated 16 June 2026, tells them to ask to see the registration certificate and the letters of permission for courses and teachers. A centre that publishes its registered name as it appears in MOE's search saves the parent the question.

Centres with fewer than 10 students, or those teaching subjects outside the mainstream syllabus, should check their position with MOE rather than assume. The GoBusiness licence page/Certificate-of-Registration-of-School) lists the application route.

How should enrolment forms and WhatsApp work?

Most trial bookings come from a parent on a phone between 9pm and 11pm. The form has to be short and the reply has to arrive the next morning.

  • Trial sign-up form. Parent name, mobile number, student level and school, subject, preferred slot. Six fields. Submissions go to the centre's own database and to the admin's WhatsApp.
  • Parent consent. The student is a minor, so collect the data from the parent and record their consent with the submission. The form states the purpose: to arrange a trial lesson and contact the parent about it.
  • WhatsApp click-to-chat. A wa.me link with a pre-filled first line naming the page, for example "Trial lesson enquiry from the P5 maths page". Each chat then tells you which page produced it.
  • Reply time stated. "We reply by 10am the next working day" on the form beats silence.
  • Photos of students. Published only with written parental consent, kept with the record.

One table in the centre's database, with the source page and the outcome of every enquiry, shows which subject pages bring students. That is the number to review each term.

How does local SEO work for a centre with one address?

A tuition centre competes within a 2 to 3 km radius. Local search, not national search, brings the enquiries.

  • Google Business Profile. One profile per branch, with the real-world name as it appears on the signboard. Google's guidelines do not allow keywords, locations or taglines added to the name. Pick the fewest categories that describe the centre, set hours, add photos of the classrooms.
  • Name, address and phone. Identical on the site footer, the profile and every directory.
  • Location in the page titles. "Primary 5 Maths Tuition in Tampines" as the title tag of the P5 maths page.
  • One page per branch. Each with its own address, map, timetable and the subjects taught there.
  • Reviews. Ask parents after the first term, with a link. Reply to every review.
  • Schema. Organization and LocalBusiness markup with the address and opening hours, so Google and AI assistants can read them.
  • Page speed. Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds are LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds and CLS under 0.1 on a phone.
