Website Redesign Cost in Singapore (2026)
Short answer: published redesign prices in Singapore run from about S$1,500 for a simple SME revamp to S$10,000 or more for corporate and e-commerce sites. New-build packages from agencies that publish prices start at S$2,500 to S$3,000. The items that move a redesign quote most are the ones usually missing from it: a redirect map, a content rewrite and new photos.
Figures below are what each agency publishes on its own site, checked 17 October 2026.
How much does a website redesign cost in Singapore?
| Source | Published figure |
|---|---|
| Innomedia, website revamp cost | Simple SME revamp S$1,500 to S$4,000; corporate revamp S$4,000 to S$10,000; e-commerce or custom beyond S$10,000 |
| Singapore Best Web Design packages | New builds from S$2,500 (1 to 5 pages), S$4,500 (10 to 15 pages), S$6,500 (e-commerce) |
| OOm | Website design from S$3,000, 2 months for a standard project |
| Mapletree Media price guide | Small business S$3,500 to S$5,000; corporate S$6,000 to S$35,000; e-commerce S$5,000 to S$50,000 |
Two things stand out in those numbers.
- A redesign is priced by the same drivers as a new site: page count, custom or template design, copy, and integrations.
- The low end of a redesign and the low end of a new build overlap. A S$1,500 revamp and a S$2,500 new site are often the same amount of work with a different label.
cense quotes a website in full before work starts. The same price applies whether the site is new or replaces an old one. See website redesign in Singapore.
What makes a redesign cost more than a new build?
A new build starts from a blank page. A redesign starts from a live site that has rankings, bookmarks, forms and old content. Each of those has to be carried across or deliberately dropped.
- Redirect map. Every indexed URL that changes needs a permanent redirect to its closest new page. A 50-page site has 50 rows to map, test and keep.
- Content audit. Someone decides which pages stay, merge or go. That decision takes longer than writing a page from scratch.
- Copy rewrite. Old copy written for a 2018 layout rarely fits a new one. Most quotes assume you supply the words.
- Form and tracking migration. Enquiry forms, Google Analytics, Search Console, ads pixels and any CRM connection are rebuilt and retested.
- Hosting change. Leaving Wix, WordPress hosting or an agency server adds DNS, email and SSL work.
- Photo replacement. A new design exposes old, small or mismatched photos.
Which costs do redesign quotes usually leave out?
Compare quotes against this list. If an item is missing, ask for it in writing as included or as a priced extra.
- Redirects for every old URL, with a test after launch.
- Rewriting or editing existing page copy.
- New or licensed photos.
- Migration of blog posts, PDFs and downloads.
- Re-creating forms and where submissions are stored.
- Analytics, Search Console and ads conversion re-setup.
- Domain, hosting and email after the first year.
- Monitoring of rankings and errors in the 90 days after launch.
The pattern is simple. The design and the pages are quoted. The connective work that protects enquiries and rankings is not.
Redesign or rebuild from scratch: which is cheaper?
| Factor | Redesign on the same platform | Rebuild on a new platform |
|---|---|---|
| Design freedom | Limited by the current theme or builder | Full |
| Copy | Often reused with light edits | Usually rewritten |
| Redirects | Fewer if URLs are kept | Needed for most URLs |
| Hosting and licences | Continue as before | Can change or drop to S$0 |
| Speed and security | Inherits the old stack | Set by the new stack |
| Typical published price | S$1,500 to S$10,000 (Innomedia) | S$2,500 to S$35,000 (packages and guides above) |
A rebuild costs more upfront when it removes a monthly platform or plugin bill, because that saving repeats every year. A redesign on the same platform costs less upfront when the platform itself is not the problem.
Use the rebuild route when the current site is slow, locked to a builder you cannot export from, or carrying plugin licences you no longer want. Use the redesign route when the structure works and only the look and copy are out of date.
How do I budget for redirects and SEO during a redesign?
Google's guidance on site moves with URL changes recommends permanent redirects from each old URL to its new URL and says to keep them for at least 1 year. It also states that for medium-sized sites it can take a few weeks or more for new URLs to replace old ones in results.
Budget three items.
- The map. One row per indexed URL. Estimate: a 50-page site takes about half a day to map and test, longer if the blog is large.
- The baseline. Export rankings, indexed pages and top landing pages from Search Console before launch, so you can compare at 30 and 90 days.
- The checks. Crawl the new site for broken links and redirect chains in the first week, then again at 30 days.

Does the EDGE grant cover a redesign?
No. From 30 September 2026, EDG, MRA and PSG were replaced by the EDGE grant, and no EDGE activity funds website development. The International Branding activity names website development as a non-supported cost. Software subscriptions for digital marketing or an e-commerce shop from listed vendors may qualify, up to published caps.
Details and official links are in the EDGE grant guide.
What cense does
cense quotes a redesign in full before work starts, with the redirect map and copy included rather than added later. The first draft arrives 14 days after one call, and the client owns the domain, code, hosting and data with S$0 monthly maintenance. See website redesign in Singapore.
How much does a website redesign cost in Singapore?+
One Singapore agency publishes S$1,500 to S$4,000 for a simple SME revamp, S$4,000 to S$10,000 for a corporate revamp and more than S$10,000 for e-commerce. New-build packages from other agencies start at S$2,500 to S$3,000.
Is a redesign cheaper than a new website?+
Not always. A redesign carries work a new build does not: a redirect map for every old URL, content migration and a rewrite of old copy. On a small site the two prices are often close.
What do redesign quotes usually leave out?+
URL redirects, copy rewriting, photo replacement, form and analytics re-setup, hosting changes and the first months of monitoring in Search Console.
Do I lose Google rankings after a redesign?+
You can if URLs change without redirects. Google recommends permanent redirects from each old URL and keeping them for at least 1 year.
Does the EDGE grant pay for a redesign?+
No. No EDGE activity funds website development, and that includes a redesign. Some marketing software subscriptions may qualify.
