Home Services Website in Singapore
Short answer: a home services website in Singapore needs one page per service with a price, one page per area you cover, a licence line where the law requires one, and a WhatsApp button that accepts photos. Google Business Profile lets a service-area business hide its address and list up to 20 areas. A 6 to 10 page site built this way costs from S$2,000 at a fixed-price studio and takes 14 days to first draft.

Which pages does an aircon, plumbing, cleaning or moving business need?
The customer has a problem today and a phone in hand. Mobile is 56.86% of Singapore web traffic per Statcounter, September 2026, and for emergency trades it is higher. Every page is built for a phone first.
- Homepage. What you fix, where, from what price, and the WhatsApp button. Under 300 words.
- One page per service. Aircon servicing, chemical wash, gas top-up; or leak repair, choke clearing, heater installation; or move-out cleaning, weekly cleaning; or local move, office move. Each with a price, what is included, how long it takes, photos of your own work.
- One page per area you want to rank in. See the next section.
- Prices. One table. A customer who cannot find a price leaves for a competitor who shows one.
- About. Names, years, licence numbers, insurance, the vehicles.
- Reviews. Google reviews quoted with dates, linked to the profile.
- Contact. WhatsApp, phone, hours, response time. A form as the fallback.
Where a licence is required by law, state the number on the service page and in the footer:
- Plumbing: since 1 April 2018, regulated water service and sanitary plumbing work must be done by a PUB licensed plumber. Replacing a tap or clearing a choke does not need a licence; relocating a toilet or altering water pipes does.
- Electrical: wiring, rewiring and extensions must be done by a licensed electrical worker, searchable on EMA's ELISE portal.
A customer who checks the register and finds your name has one less reason to call the next listing.
How do service-area pages and Google Business Profile work together?
Google's service-area business rules are specific: a business that visits customers and does not serve them at its premises should remove its address from the profile, can list up to 20 service areas by town or postal code rather than a radius, and should keep the total area within about 2 hours' drive. Edits take up to 48 hours to show.
Singapore fits inside that limit, so the profile can cover the whole island. The website then does the work of ranking for area queries.
- Build one page per area that customers search: "aircon servicing Punggol", "plumber Jurong West". Start with 5 to 8 areas where you already have jobs.
- Each area page needs its own content: jobs done there with photos, typical travel time, parking or access notes for the estates, and the same price table. A page that only swaps the area name is a duplicate.
- Add LocalBusiness structured data with the most specific type Google lists: Plumber, Electrician, HVACBusiness or MovingCompany. Cleaning uses LocalBusiness.
- Keep the business name, phone and hours identical on the profile, the site footer and the markup.
- Link each area page from the profile's services section and from the site footer.
Google's AI optimisation guide (May 2026) states that a complete Business Profile feeds its local and AI results; no extra file or markup is needed beyond this.
How do you show prices without a quote form?
A quote form delays the answer and loses the customer. Most home services can be priced from two or three variables.
| Service | Price variable | Show as |
|---|---|---|
| Aircon servicing | Number of units, unit type | Per-unit table, discount tiers at 3 and 5 units |
| Chemical wash | Unit type | Per-unit price |
| Plumbing repair | Call-out plus job type | Call-out fee, then common jobs with fixed prices |
| Electrical | Call-out plus job type | Same, with "quoted on site" only for rewiring |
| Cleaning | Floor area, frequency | Per-visit price by flat type: 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, condo |
| Moving | Vehicle size, floors without lift | Base price per vehicle, surcharge per floor |
Three rules:
- Put the call-out fee first and state whether it is waived when the job proceeds.
- List what is not included: parts, disposal, weekend surcharge.
- Date the price table on the page. A dated table is trusted more than an undated one.
LocaliQ's 2026 search advertising benchmarks put the Google Ads conversion rate for home and home improvement at 8.05%, close to the 8.18% average across industries. Those are paid clicks landing on pages with a price and a button; a page without a price sits well below that figure.
How should WhatsApp booking work?
WhatsApp is the channel Singapore customers use for trades. The button must do more than open a chat.
- Use a click-to-chat link in the format WhatsApp documents: the number in international format and a pre-filled message. Pre-fill the service and the page: "Hi, I need aircon servicing, 3 units, Punggol."
- Ask for a photo in the first reply. A photo of the leak, the aircon model plate or the room decides the price and whether to bring parts. Most jobs can be quoted from two photos.
- Use the WhatsApp Business app: business profile, catalogue, greeting and away messages, quick replies. Put the price table in the catalogue so the quote is one tap.
- State the reply time beside the button and keep it. "Replies within 30 minutes, 8am to 8pm."
- Log every chat as a lead in your own database with the source page and area, so you know which pages bring jobs. The ownership rules are in own your website leads.
When to add a form: for non-urgent jobs where the customer is at a desk, such as office moves or contract cleaning. Four fields and a photo upload. The trade-offs between the two channels are in WhatsApp vs contact form.
What does it cost and how long does it take?
| Build | Pages | Price | Time to first draft |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website | 6 to 10, including 3 to 5 area pages | From S$2,000, quoted in full after one call | 14 days |
| Website and infrastructure: own database, lead logging, WhatsApp routing | Same plus integrations | From S$3,000 | 14 days |
| With AI agents: a sales agent that drafts every reply for approval | Same | From S$5,000, plus from S$800 a month for the sales agent | 14 days |
Running cost on the standard plan is S$0 hosting and S$0 monthly maintenance for most business sites; the client owns the domain, code, hosting and data. A builder subscription over the same five years runs S$1,200 to S$3,600 (estimate at S$20 to S$60 a month) before any form tool or plugin.
