Can a Framer site be exported?+
Framer states that every published site is standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and that CMS content exports through plugins as CSV or JSON. We use both.
Why move off Framer if it exports?+
The export is output, not source. Page limits, CMS limits and the monthly plan remain while the site is on Framer. A Next.js codebase has none of those.
Will the design and animations survive?+
The design, yes. Animations are rebuilt where they help and removed where they slow the page.
Can we keep editing content ourselves?+
Yes. Content lives in your own database with a simple editor, or is updated by WhatsApp message.
What does the migration cost?+
Quoted in full before we start, after the Day 0 call. There is no monthly maintenance fee afterwards.
Who owns the new website?+
You do: the domain, the code, the hosting account and the database.
